Well, it's a marvelous night for a moondance

*Alfred had climbed up one of the tallest hills in HQ and set up a picnic blanket. He laid out several more blankets, for when it got colder - and it would, it is winter after all - and a basket full of goodies. In case the food and drink Matthew might bring ran out. Better to have more than not enough! He waited for his boyfriend to show up.*

He's going to love watching this lunar eclipse!

[Perfect. Snuggling happily, he sneaks in a few light kisses to his neck and jaw.]

You'll always have a job, you know. I'll let you be my hero. [With a light smile, he kissed him lightly for a moment.] But peace would be nice. If not total, at least for a majority.

You can save me from the evil kitchen. [A soft laugh accompanied his words as he stole a quick kiss.] Unfortunatately I think that no matter what, somewhere out there, someone will always be fighting.

*He closes his eyes as Matthew brushes the hair out of his face.*

Sometimes I find it annoying, but you know? I wouldn't change it. Everyone needs a hero, after all. [Pausing for a moment, he kissed him lightly.] Plus, people are just bound to disagree. I think... as much as I'd love a global peace, that disagreement is necessary. Just... in certain quantities and all.
