(Plus taking them off, putting them on, fiddling with them can help him get his message across non-verbally.) He likes to wear anything that won't constrict his movements - so baggy jeans, yoga pants, t-shirts, hoodies - when he isn't acting in any official capacity/has to look professional. He dresses for the season and the occasion - he has closets full of clothes from various decades/centuries.

He enjoys bringing these same feelings out in others. He can be overly aggressive when pushing his thoughts or opinions onto others especially since he is considered the embodiment of liberty/freedom. He also took on the form of a white stag near Jamestown or Plymoth. He also appeared as a nixe - sometimes in the shape of a dolphin or a siren around Saint Augustine and Saint Croix Island. He would appear in one of those 3 forms at new settlements, especially if the people there were yearning for freedom to live as they pleased. But he never stayed there for a long and would disappear entirely as the people became settled and accustomed to living their lives in their new homes. He became more of a legend - a myth, a folktale passed down over the generations.

He appeared as a ghostly child, living on the outskirts of the towns who were affected the most by the French and Indian War.
